What to see in Paris?

Montmartre

This district of Paris is like a village in the heart of the buzzing city. The cobbled streets, the little cafés, the artists, the Sacrée Coeur basilica make Montmartre so charming and inviting. We call it la Butte Montmartre, because it is located on a hill which offers a spectacular view once you arrive at the top, where the basilica is standing. It is a very lively district with lots of bars, restaurants, nightclubs and last but not least cabarets! You can’t miss the fantastic Moulin Rouge!

The Champs Élysées Avenue

You can’t visit Paris without walking on this mythical Avenue. Known as the most beautiful avenue of the world, the Champs Élysées will amaze you. The huge stores, the perfectly aligned trees, the Haussmann style buildings and the Arc de Triomphe create an impressive décor, that you will remember for sure. This Avenue is also the place of celebration, for example this is where people celebrate the 14th of July, New Year, the football/soccer world cup and so on. It is the heart of the city, where people gather and celebrate.

The Seine River Banks

It is possible to walk for 7 km along the Seine River. Stop in a café or a bar for a drink near the water. Have dinner on a barge, where many couples get engaged, as they arrive in front of the illuminated Eiffel Tower, so romantic! Did you know that the Seine River Banks are listed as a UNESCO world heritage site? The banks are today preserved and equipped for soft leisure. You will find playgrounds, picnic spots, terrasses and cafés, climbing walls, etc. Take time to enjoy the view over some of the most important monuments of Paris such as Notre Dame, the Pont Neuf, the Grand Palais, the Eiffel Tower, etc.

The Louvres Museum

The Louvres is probably the world’s most famous Museum. It covers several millenniums of art and culture from America to Asia without forgetting Europe and Africa. You will discover some major masterpieces of the world such as the Mona Lisa, the Winged Victory of Samothrace, the seated scribe, the Michelangelo’s slaves and thousand more art pieces.
