Day 1 / Arrival Day

Arrival in Nancy. Check-in at the hotel and dinner.

Day 2 / Nancy and gastronomy

Breakfast at the hotel. Discover Nancy’s heritage by walking through the old town where you will find UNESCO world heritage sites and Art Nouveau buildings. Enjoy a regional specialty tasting before heading to the Brasserie Excelsior for lunch. The famous Brasserie Excelsior is classified as a historical monument due to its wonderful Art Nouveau building. Then, discover a chocolate factory also specialized in Nancy macaroons, bergamot candies, marzipan mirabelles, etc. (visit and tasting) Free time. Dinner.

Day 3 / On the road of Lorraine specialties

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to Pont-à-Mousson and guided visit of the Prémontrés Abbey classified as historical monument. You will then have time to stroll around their 3 gardens. Next stop in a craft brewery where you will discover the history of beer and its brewing process. Enjoy a beer at the end of the visit! Lunch. Quick stop on the road at the American Memorial of Montsec to enjoy a beautiful panorama over the Meuse Hills. Next stop in Commercy where a factory still produces Madeleines the traditional way. Visit of the factory and tasting. Continue towards the Toul vineyards. Aperitif tasting of wines from Côtes de Toul accompanied by a Lorraine speciality at a wine maker’s domain. Road back to the hotel, dinner.

Day 4 / Mirabelle in all its forms

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to Rozelieures surrounded by Mirabelle plum orchards. Fun guided visit of the Mirabelle’s house including a tasting of some Mirabelle specialties (cocktail or Mirabelle sirup with a Mirabelle tart, brandy, whisky or liquor), delicious! Lunch. Continue towards Baccarat. Visit of the Baccarat Cristal Museum. The museum was built like the house of a collector, it reflects the legendary history of the Baccarat manufacture, symbol of excellence and elegance for over 255 years. Free time in Nancy and dinner at your leisure.

Day 5 / Departure Day

Breakfast at the hotel. End of our services.

Customize this itinerary:

  • Discover the vineyards of the Côtes de Toul by tractor towed carriage.
  • Cook your own quiche Lorraine! Cooking class to learn how to cook a traditional quiche Lorraine which you will taste afterward of course!
  • Discover Art Nouveau in Nancy through the visit of the Art Nouveau Museum or the Villa Majorelle, old Art Nouveau family house
  • If you would like to start or end your trip in Paris, we can organize it for you as well
