Day 1 / Colmar, the city of Romance

Arrival in Colmar. Guided visit of the historic centre of Colmar. Capital of the Alsace Wine Route, the lovely city of Colmar will seduce you with its typical Alsatian charm! Aboard a flat-bottomed boat, discover all the charm of the authentic district of Little Venice. You will cruise through the city and appreciate the serenity of the market gardeners’ quarter where abundant vegetation abounds. Free time. Check-in at the hotel for 3 nights, dinner.

Day 2 / Alsatian Wine Route

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to the Haut-Koenigsbourg castle. Walking through the gates of this Castle is like plunging into the world of the Middle Ages. From the lower courtyard with its inn, forge and mill, to the spiral staircases leading to the furnished flats of the lord… discover the architecture, the collections and the atmosphere, all steeped in 900 years of history. Typical “Tartes Flambées” Menu for lunch. Continuation to Riquewihr, « the Pearl of the Alsatian vineyards ». Stop in Kaysersberg for some free time to discover this charming village surrounded by mountains and vineyards. You will be welcomed by a wine-maker to discover their wine cellar and taste a couple of wines. Dinner

Day 3 / Breath-taking view on the Vosges Mountain roads and tasty specialties

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to the Munster valley for a day in the mountains. You will be amazed by the view over Alsace and the rolling mountains. Visit of a cheese farm and cheese tasting. Traditional “Marcaire” lunch. (Rich and tasty menu traditionally served in farms). In the afternoon, you keep discovering the beautiful landscapes of the Vosges Mountains. Photo stop in lake Gérardmer, biggest natural lake in the Vosges. Guided tour of an artisanal gums and jellies factory and tasting or stop in a household linen factory outlet. Dinner.

Day 4 / Strasbourg & Metz

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to Strasbourg, the European capital and the capital of Alsace. European capital and capital of Alsace, Strasbourg has a world-renowned historical heritage: the Great Island is for example classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Encircled by the arms of the Ill, the city center features the main landmarks and monuments that make Strasbourg famous, such as the Notre Dame Cathedral…  Impossible not to succumb to its charm! Lunch in a local restaurant. Continue to Metz, located in Lorraine region. Check-in at the hotel for 2 nights, dinner.

Day 5 / Lorraine’s treasures

Breakfast at the hotel.  Guided visit of Metz’s unmissable sites including Saint-Etienne Cathedral, famous for its windows carrying the names of artists such as Valentin Bousch, Marc Chagall, Jacques Villon, Roger Bissière… Departure for Nancy, former capital of the dukes of Lorraine. Lunch in a famous Art Nouveau Brasserie. In the afternoon, explore the historic 18th Century city and the Old Town sitting comfortably in a little train. End your day with a wine tasting in a cellar in Côtes de Toul. Dinner.

Day 6 / Verdun, land of Memory

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to Verdun, sadly famous for its battlefield. Discover the city center of Verdun, with its Cathedral or visit of the artisanal production of the famous Dragées de Verdun. Lunch. Guided tour of Verdun Battlefield. You’ll walk with a guide and hear all the First World War history related to Verdun on a route around the fortifications, trenches, and monuments. Arrival in Reims, capital of Champagne region. Check-in at the hotel for 2 nights, dinner.

Day 7 / The Champagne Wine Route

Breakfast at the hotel. Visit of the Reims cathedral, the site of 25 coronations of the kings of France. Discover of the Champagne Tourist Route, famous for its panoramic viewpoints overlooking vineyards, picturesque villages, castles and churches. Discover Epernay with its UNESCO listed « Avenue du Champagne ». Walking tour of the village of Hautvillers, the cradle of champagne. Indeed, it is here that the monk Dom Pérignon discovered the champagne wine-making process! Traditional lunch in a local restaurant including Champagne tasting. End your day with the visit of a prestigious cellar including Champagne tasting! Dinner.

Day 8 / Treasurs of Paris

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to Paris, the city of lights and love. Lunch in a typical parisian brasserie. Explore Paris from its best avenue: the Seine River. An original way to visit Paris’ most beautiful monuments from a « bateau-mouche » boat (The Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, Notre Dame, the Conciergerie, the Musée d’Orsay…). Climb on top of the Eiffel tower (possibility to climb the steps or get on the elevator). Check-in at the hotel for 2 nights, dinner.

Day 9 / Historical Paris

Breakfast at the hotel. Drive up the hill thanks to the little train. Discover the incomparable charm of the Montmartre district and its museums, vineyards, artists, windmills, Sacré-Cœur…Lunch. Free time in the afternoon to do some shopping in Champs Elysées Avenue. Dinner.

Day 10 / Departure Day

Breakfast at the hotel. End of our services
